This bag's story begins with another bag.

Yael's father had a bag where he kept his sails. Yael recalls that every time her father returned from a sailing trip, she had to help wash the sails and learn how to fold them (a task that wasn’t simple at all).

That bag, in a turquoise blue color, had been sitting around her house for quite some time without purpose. So, she decided to cut it into pieces, each the size of a tote bag panel.

This is how 11 bags came to be—each one sewn individually, each unique from the other.
