Valentine’s Day?
In Hebrew, it sounds strange to begin with.

I read a bit about Valentinus, about how he was a saint, and how February 14 came to mark his memory — and how, inspired by a medieval legend, he became the patron saint of lovers.

Where I read about it — and it wasn’t in a book — there were many names and dates, other saints as well, and various arguments about how this day turned into one devoted to romantic love.

There was no mention of red hearts or chocolate, but there are things that happen, and no one fully remembers why.

On the other hand, talking about love — each person and the kind of love they want to speak about or feel — is never too much.

This moment is a special one, a time after war, and may it be filled with infinite love.

“And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb,

and the leopard shall lie down with the kid,”

said the prophet Isaiah, in the Book of Isaiah.

A prophecy of peace, fraternity, harmony, and love.
