The slowness with which something once forbidden becomes allowed. And the speed with which, to those who are part of it, it seems like it was always this way. But it wasn’t.

Shira Banki was murdered 10 years ago at the Pride Parade in Jerusalem. She was 15.
Nir Katz and Liz Troubishi were murdered at the Bar-Noar youth center on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv 16 years ago.

Within arm’s reach, LGBTQ+ youth are still not proud, even though some may think the world is accepting and inclusive.

Pride must live within us.

Gay men and gay women, we must be.
